Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Store Keeper to manage the restaurant’s inventory and stock control system. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, maintain accurate records, and support cost-effective purchasing and usage of supplies. Candidates with an understanding of inventory-related sales trends and basic marketing insights are highly encouraged to apply, as the role also involves supporting promotional planning and inventory forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store all incoming stock and materials

• Maintain accurate inventory records and regularly update stock databases

• Monitor stock levels and place orders to replenish supplies as needed

• Ensure the proper arrangement and labeling of items for easy identification and access

• Track inventory usage and identify slow-moving or high-demand items

• Collaborate with the kitchen and procurement teams to forecast stock based on sales trends

• Support the implementation of promotions and seasonal menus by aligning inventory availability

• Assist in conducting periodic stock counts and audits

• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards in the storage area

• Provide reports on stock status and highlight discrepancies or issues

• Maintain proper documentation of inventory movement and supplier records

Requirements

• Must be male

• 2–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting

• OND, HND, or a Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field

• Basic understanding of inventory control systems and sales data

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory management software

• High level of integrity and accountability

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Must reside in Abuja, preferably within or near Wuse 2
