About the Role

We are seeking a creative, highly organized, and results-driven Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our fashion brand. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fashion, digital marketing, content creation, and storytelling, with a strong understanding of social media trends and audience engagement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being both behind and in front of the camera, creating compelling content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with the brand’s marketing goals.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Plan and manage content calendars, campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Create high-quality photo and video content for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Capture fashion-related content, including product showcases, styling videos, behind-the-scenes footage, customer testimonials, and lifestyle content.
  • Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit engaging Reels, TikTok videos, and short-form content.
  • Write compelling captions, social media copy, and campaign messaging.
  • Monitor trends, hashtags, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the fashion industry.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a strong online community.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, models, influencers, and marketing teams to produce high-quality content.
  • Track social media performance metrics and prepare reports with actionable insights.
  • Manage influencer partnerships and brand collaborations.
  • Support paid social media advertising campaigns when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2โ€“4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably within the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and other relevant social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in content creation and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, InShot, or similar applications.
  • Strong photography, videography, and video-editing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and trend-driven content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Ability to analyze social media metrics and optimize performance.
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Must be based in Abuja or willing to commute to Wuse 2.
