Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative, dynamic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to oversee and implement social media strategies for our restaurant in Wuse 2, Abuja. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing our online presence, building engagement with our customers, and enhancing our brand image across various platforms. You will work closely with our marketing team to drive awareness, customer loyalty, and sales growth through effective social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy & Planning:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the restaurantโ€™s branding and marketing objectives. Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

  • Content Creation & Curation:
    Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including text, images, videos, and graphics that reflect the restaurant’s identity and appeal to our target audience.

  • Community Engagement:
    Respond promptly to comments, messages, and reviews on social media platforms, fostering a strong, positive relationship with our customers. Engage with followers through creative posts and interactive content.

  • Brand Management:
    Ensure the restaurantโ€™s voice and tone are maintained consistently across all social media channels. Monitor the restaurantโ€™s social media reputation, ensuring it reflects a professional and welcoming image.

  • Campaign Management:
    Plan, execute, and monitor paid and organic social media campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram promotions) to drive traffic and increase brand awareness.

  • Analytics & Reporting:
    Analyze social media metrics to evaluate the performance of campaigns. Provide monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

  • Collaboration with Team:
    Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to promote special events, seasonal promotions, new menu items, and other restaurant offerings.

  • Stay Current with Trends:
    Keep up with social media trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure that the restaurantโ€™s social media presence is always innovative and up to date.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.

  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and their respective best practices.

  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).

  • Exceptional writing, communication, and editing skills.

  • Ability to create visually appealing content, with knowledge of design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Instagram Analytics.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for food, hospitality, and staying up to date with social media trends.

  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies is a plus.

  • Must reside in or near Wuse 2, Abuja.
