Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe transportation of food deliveries, staff, and other logistics-related tasks. This role requires someone with a strong sense of responsibility, familiarity with Abuja routes, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport food orders to customers and catering events in a timely manner

• Drive staff and management to and from locations as needed

• Ensure the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and fuel usage

• Assist in loading and unloading of food items and other goods

• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations

• Represent the restaurant in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and vendors

• Support other operational tasks within the restaurant when not driving

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the hospitality or logistics sector

• Valid Nigerian driver’s license (Class D or above preferred)

• Familiarity with Abuja roads and neighborhoods, especially Wuse 2 and surrounding areas

• Minimum of SSCE; additional certification in logistics or customer service is a plus

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Neat and presentable appearance

• Punctual, honest, and dependable

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Must reside in Abuja, preferably within or near Wuse 2
