Job Summary:
A reputable private school in Jabi, Abuja is seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to inspire and educate students in basic education. The ideal candidate will have strong musical skills, teaching experience, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach music theory, instruments, and vocal training to students in basic education.

Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.

Organize and conduct music performances, recitals, and school events.

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Foster students’ creativity, confidence, and appreciation for music.

Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.

Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students’ development.
Requirements:

Degree or diploma in Music Education, Performing Arts, or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience (preferred but not mandatory).

Proficiency in playing at least one or two musical instrument.

Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.

Passion for teaching and motivating young learners.
