Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Manager to lead our HR function and support the achievement of our organizational goals. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and have a proven track record of driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the organization’s objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing workplace issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and employee development.
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, payroll support, and employee welfare programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Advise management on HR best practices, organizational development, and workforce planning.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5โ€“7 years’ proven experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and compensation management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems (HRIS) is an added advantage.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
  • Must be available for immediate employment.
