About the Role

We are seeking 2 reliable and skilled Bakers to join our hospitality team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and baked products while maintaining consistent quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.

This role is ideal for a hardworking individual who enjoys working in a professional kitchen and can manage daily baking responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked products according to established recipes and standards.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately.
• Operate and monitor ovens, mixers, proofers, and other baking equipment safely.
• Ensure all baked products meet required standards for taste, texture, freshness, and appearance.
• Prepare dough, fillings, toppings, and other ingredients for production.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent results.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and work area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Properly store ingredients and finished products.
• Monitor ingredient usage and minimize waste.
• Report equipment issues, ingredient shortages, or quality concerns to management.
• Ensure sufficient products are prepared for daily operations.
• Work closely with other kitchen and hospitality staff.
• Carry out other baking-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Baker in a bakery, restaurant, hotel, café, or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of baking techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Culinary or baking certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
