Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and detail-oriented Baker to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, timing, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards

• Ensure all baking operations are completed on time and meet quality expectations

• Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and supplies; report low stock to the kitchen manager or procurement team

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, tools, and equipment

• Develop new recipes or modify existing ones to meet customer preferences and seasonal demand

• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

• Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal and service timing

• Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and product consistency

• Maintain accurate production records and minimize wastage

• Uphold professional standards of kitchen conduct and teamwork.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a baker (minimum of 2 years preferred)

• Formal training in culinary arts, baking, or pastry is an added advantage

• Ability to follow recipes and adjust measurements as needed

• Strong understanding of baking techniques and pastry arts

• Familiarity with food safety practices and kitchen hygiene

• Creativity and attention to detail

• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Good physical stamina and time-management skills

• Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
