Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and creative Baker & Decorator to join our fast-growing restaurant in Wuse 2, Abuja. The ideal candidate should have strong baking and cake-decoration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality baked products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, desserts, and other baked products.

  • Decorate cakes professionally according to customer requirements.

  • Prepare and work with buttercream, fondant, fillings, and toppings.

  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture, quality, and presentation.

  • Manage baking ingredients and minimise production waste.

  • Maintain a clean and hygienic baking area.

  • Complete customer orders accurately and on schedule.

  • Develop new cake, pastry, and dessert ideas when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of professional baking and cake-decoration experience.

  • Proven experience as a Baker, Cake Decorator, Pastry Chef, or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of baking and cake-decoration techniques.

  • Good knowledge of buttercream, fondant, piping, fillings, and frosting.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent presentation skills.

  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

  • Reliable, creative, organised, and a good team player.

Work Schedule & Benefits
