Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Baker to join our culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and quality-driven hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting a variety of baked goods while maintaining top standards of hygiene, precision, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked items following established recipes and standards

  • Ensure baking operations are completed efficiently and meet consistent quality expectations

  • Monitor and manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies; promptly report shortages

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-sanitized baking area and equipment

  • Contribute creative ideas for new recipes and seasonal offerings

  • Adhere strictly to food safety, health, and hygiene regulations

  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination of production and service

  • Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and ensure product consistency

  • Keep accurate production records and minimize ingredient wastage

  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and respect in all kitchen interactions

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a baker

  • Formal training in culinary arts, baking, or pastry is an added advantage

  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, tools, and ingredients

  • Ability to follow and scale recipes accurately

  • Able to make different types of cakes and up-to-date cake designs, including fondant, buttercream, and whipped cream

  • Familiarity with kitchen hygiene and food safety practices

  • Creativity with a keen eye for detail and presentation

  • Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

  • Good physical stamina and time management

  • A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
