Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced, commercially minded, and results-driven Apartment Hotel Manager to oversee the overall business performance and daily operations of a serviced apartment facility in Apo, Abuja.

The ideal candidate must have 9–12 years of relevant experience across serviced apartments, short-let apartments, hotels, restaurants, or other hospitality businesses, with a strong understanding of revenue generation, operational management, guest satisfaction, cost control, and profitability.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the apartment hotel’s operational and commercial performance, lead teams, drive occupancy and revenue growth, strengthen service standards, and ensure the profitable and sustainable growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee overall business performance, daily operations, and long-term business sustainability.
• Drive revenue and occupancy growth through effective pricing, revenue management, sales, marketing, and business development strategies.
• Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction, customer service, housekeeping, and property presentation.
• Lead and supervise staff, ensuring productivity, accountability, and effective team performance.
• Monitor staff performance through clear targets, regular reviews, coaching, and corrective actions to improve productivity and service delivery.
• Oversee maintenance, facilities, procurement, suppliers, and operational policies and procedures.
• Manage operational costs, support budget planning, and implement cost-control measures.
• Work closely with the Accountant to monitor revenue, expenses, financial performance, and profitability.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for the CEO, highlighting key results, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Identify operational gaps and implement improvements in processes, resource utilisation, service quality, and overall business efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 9–12 years of relevant professional experience across serviced apartments, short-let apartments, hotels, restaurants, or other hospitality businesses.
• Demonstrated experience managing hospitality operations and supervising multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of occupancy management, pricing strategy, revenue growth, and business development.
• Experience in budget management, cost control, procurement, and financial performance monitoring.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping standards, facilities management, and guest service excellence.
• Strong leadership, commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational reports, monitor performance indicators, and achieve business targets.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant hospitality or property management systems.
