JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Kitchen Chef to join our hospitality team in Gwarimpa, Abuja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of fast-food, continental, and local breakfast meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene, taste, and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fast Food & Grill Menu
- Prepare loaded fries (mini, medium, max) with different toppings and sauces
- Prepare wings (crunchy, peppered, BBQ)
- Cook burgers (chicken, beef, and suya)
- Prepare shawarma, noodles, sandwiches, and pasta dishes
- Prepare stir-fry spaghetti and peppered asun spaghetti
Breakfast Menu
- Yam & egg sauce, plantain & egg sauce
- Akara & pap, beans & plantain, moimoi
- Full British breakfast plate
- Avocado toast with egg
- Veggie omelet
Kitchen Management
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ensure proper food storage and portion control
- Follow recipes and maintain consistency in taste and presentation
- Support smooth kitchen operations and timely food delivery
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a chef/cook in a restaurant or fast-food setup
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian and continental dishes
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- High standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Culinary school training is an added advantage
