Job Summary
A reputable automobile service center in Wuse Zone 4, Abuja is seeking a skilled Wheel Alignment & Balancing Technician to join its technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out precise wheel alignment, tire balancing, and related suspension checks to ensure vehicle safety and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate wheel alignment using computerized or manual alignment systems
- Carry out wheel balancing for different categories of vehicles
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation levels
- Diagnose alignment, steering, and suspension-related issues
- Recommend necessary repairs or adjustments to customers and supervisors
- Operate and maintain alignment and balancing equipment
- Ensure proper use and care of workshop tools and machinery
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Provide professional technical support and customer service
- Assist with general automotive workshop duties when required
Requirements
- SSCE, OND, or equivalent technical certification in automobile/mechanical studies
- Proven experience in wheel alignment and balancing is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of vehicle suspension and tire systems
- Ability to operate alignment and balancing machines effectively
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to modern automotive systems
Salary
