Job Summary:

A leading restaurant in Wuse 2, Abuja is seeking an experienced and innovative Social Media Expert to take full ownership of its digital presence. The ideal candidate will be skilled in content creation, audience growth, and campaign strategy. This role requires a data-driven mindset, a strong creative edge, and a passion for social media trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy that aligns with business goals.

  • Produce high-quality, engaging, and original content (images, videos, captions, stories, etc.) tailored to each platform (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, etc.).

  • Grow and manage online communities, responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries.

  • Track performance metrics and use insights to optimize content and strategy.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and support marketing campaigns and promotions.

  • Manage influencer relationships and monitor user-generated content (UGC).

  • Create and run targeted paid ad campaigns to boost visibility and engagement.

  • Stay current with platform updates, emerging trends, and best practices.

  • Monitor brand reputation and address customer feedback professionally.

Requirements:

  • 3โ€“5 years proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.

  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing social media accounts, ideally in the hospitality or lifestyle space.

  • Strong portfolio of content and campaign results.

  • Excellent knowledge of platform algorithms, engagement tactics, and audience insights.

  • Skilled in tools like Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, and social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, etc.).

  • Experience with analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, and Google Analytics.

  • Exceptional copywriting and visual storytelling abilities.

  • Creative, proactive, and highly organized.

  • Basic photography and videography skills are a plus.

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an advantage.
