Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Baker to join our bakery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality breads, rolls, buns, and other baked products while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards. The ideal candidate should have extensive baking experience and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, rolls, buns, pastries, and other bakery products.
  • Measure, mix, knead, proof, and bake dough according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistent product quality, taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results.
  • Prepare ingredients and ensure adequate stock for daily production.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery and workstations.
  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and report shortages promptly.
  • Minimize product waste and ensure efficient use of raw materials.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Ensure products are ready on schedule to meet customer demand.
  • Assist in developing new bakery products and improving existing recipes when required.
  • Work collaboratively with the bakery team and store management to achieve production targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ proven experience as a Baker in a supermarket, commercial bakery, hotel, or similar establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, dough preparation, fermentation, and baking processes.
  • Ability to produce a wide variety of breads and baked products consistently.
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to operate commercial baking equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Culinary, Bakery, or Food Production certification is an added advantage.
  • Must be willing to reside in the provided accommodation.
  • Must be available for immediate employment.
