ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to strengthen the online presence of a hotel and apartment property in Abuja.

The successful candidate will create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and run campaigns that showcase the property, attract potential guests, and generate booking enquiries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

✔ Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with the property’s marketing and booking goals.
✔ Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
✔ Create high-quality photos, videos, reels, captions, and promotional content showcasing rooms, apartments, amenities, and guest experiences.
✔ Maintain a consistent content calendar and brand identity across platforms.
✔ Respond promptly to comments, messages, and enquiries, coordinating with sales and front office to support bookings.
✔ Plan and manage paid social media campaigns within approved budgets.
✔ Coordinate collaborations with relevant influencers, content creators, and partners.
✔ Track engagement, audience growth, enquiries, and campaign performance, providing regular reports.
✔ Monitor trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to improve content and campaigns.
✔ Obtain appropriate consent before publishing identifiable guest images or testimonials.

REQUIREMENTS

✔ Proven experience managing business social media accounts, preferably in hospitality, travel, or lifestyle.
✔ A portfolio demonstrating content creation skills and measurable social media results.
✔ Strong photography, short-form video production, editing, and copywriting skills.
✔ Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or similar design and video-editing tools.
✔ Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager, social media analytics, and scheduling tools.
✔ Ability to connect social media activity with enquiries, bookings, and revenue goals.
✔ Strong organisation, communication, and community-management skills.
✔ Willingness to work on-site to capture property content and cover relevant activities.
✔ Knowledge of Abuja’s hospitality market is an added advantage.
