Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and target-driven Savings Mobilization Officer to join our financial services team in Jabi, Abuja. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, mobilizing savings and deposits, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving assigned daily, weekly, and monthly savings targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobilize daily, weekly, and monthly savings from new and existing customers.
• Identify and onboard prospective customers within assigned locations and communities.
• Promote the company’s savings products and other financial services.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct field visits to markets, businesses, shops, offices, and other customer locations.
• Achieve assigned savings mobilization and customer acquisition targets.
• Educate customers on savings plans, account requirements, terms, and benefits.
• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, deposits, and collections.
• Follow up with customers to encourage consistent savings and retention.
• Identify opportunities to increase customer deposits and portfolio value.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally.
• Submit daily and periodic reports on savings mobilization activities and performance.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of ND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Previous experience in savings mobilization, field sales, microfinance, banking, fintech, insurance, or financial services is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in the field and interact confidently with customers.
• Target-driven with strong sales and customer-acquisition abilities.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Trustworthy, responsible, and customer-focused.
• Basic computer and reporting skills.
• Experience working with traders, SMEs, artisans, or community-based customers is an advantage.

• Monthly savings/deposit mobilization.
• Number of new customers acquired.
• Customer retention and active accounts.
• Daily and weekly field activity.
• Achievement of assigned savings targets.
• Accuracy and timeliness of reports.

Compensation

₦150,000 monthly
