Dr. Ugbede is a venture growth strategy at Startup Soar.  He began his career as a business development consultant for international firms that seek new market opportunities in foreign markets before he commenced his PhD research. Dr. Ugbede is also a senior lecturer in international business, management, and strategy at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University. He’s an international business consultant and educator with over seven years of experience working in the UK higher education sector.

He is capable of providing research-based and innovative business advice that boosts business competitiveness across industries and regions, including developed, emerging, and developing markets. He currently teaches international business, management, and strategy at the Nottingham Business School and the London School of Economics.

Dr. Ugbede is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the UK and a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). He is also a member of several research and corporate groups, including the Centre for International Business Strategy and Decisions (CIBSD), the China-Africa research group, the Academy of International Business (AIB), the European Academy of Management (EURAM), and the British Academy of Management (BAM).
