Job Summary:
A leading restaurant in Wuse 2, Abuja is seeking 2 highly skilled and motivated Sous Chefs to assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and service. The ideal candidates will have strong culinary expertise, organizational skills, and a passion for creating outstanding dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.

Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain performance and efficiency.

Monitor inventory, stock levels, and procurement of ingredients.

Collaborate with management to plan menus and develop new recipes.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Support kitchen workflow optimization and scheduling.

Assist in controlling food costs and minimizing waste.

Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen.

Culinary degree or diploma is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
