Job Summary:
A popular café in Wuse 2, Abuja is seeking 2 experienced and enthusiastic Baristas with 4–6 years of professional experience to deliver exceptional coffee and customer experiences. The ideal candidates will have strong coffee-making skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for quality beverages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and other beverages to high standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and coffee-making equipment.

  • Provide excellent customer service and engage positively with patrons.

  • Monitor inventory and report stock levels to management.

  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards.

  • Assist in training new staff and maintaining workflow efficiency.

  • Support café promotions and special events as needed.

  • Experiment with and create new coffee drinks and recipes to enhance the menu.

  • Maintain consistency in beverage quality across all shifts.

  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately during customer service.

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of experience as a Barista or in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for coffee and delivering a great customer experience.

  • Ability to train and mentor junior staff in coffee preparation and customer service.

  • Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, presentation, and beverage quality.

  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
